Rosalynn (2023) Sweet blush pink flowers are 3” and cover 2.5” bushy plants that have fine dissected, dark green foliage. This is a darling cut flower with shorter stems, but what sets it apart is the fact that the flower petals do not drop after they have finished blooming. No petal drop means the foliage stays clean and pretty throughout the season, even if it isn’t deadheaded. It is perfect for the garden border and containers either as a single specimen or in masses. The pink color varies in intensity throughout the season.
Rosalynn’s shape reminds me of an old fashioned rose and I named it in honor of former First Lady, Rosalynn Carter, a fellow gardener and native of southwest Georgia.
