Lee’s Egret (2026) is part of my ‘Bird’ series. These small- 3” across when fully open- silver waterlily form flowers open slowly and have an extreme vase life. 4’ tall plants. Straight, thin, long stems. These will open even if cut in mature bud stage!
Lee’s Egret always blooms later in the season for me, so if you have a very short growing season, this may not be the dahlia for you. If you do have a longer, later growing season, expect a refreshing crop of flowers hovering above broad foliage when every other dahlia has tired itself out.
