Lee’s Dragoneye Blaze (2026) This is one of three anemone forms in my Dragoneye series. Intense red-orange, solid centers are surrounded by lighter orange petals that point down when fully opened. Both garden and cut flower worthy, these 3’ tall plants constantly send up long, dark stems for cutting. Unlike dahlias with a ton of petals, anemone form dahlias can be cut when they are barely starting to open and will continue to open fully. You can even cut them in bud and they will open, but the flowers will be slightly smaller but the color remains.
