Lee’s Clayson (2025)
Clayson has up to 3” flowers that are a warm light to mid-pink and the plants are short- topping out under 2’ for me. Regardless, the stems are just the right length for perfect cuts flush after flush.
This dreamy pink mini ball form was named by my goddaughter, Clayson right after she was diagnosed with leukemia in 2024. I thought she would have fun picking out a dahlia named in her honor. Clayson passed away in August 2025 from a rare side effect of one of the chemotherapy treatments she received. Her spirit will live on in these flowers.
