Lee’s Papaya (2023) has been an outstanding cut flower for me. The 4”, rosy orange flowers (ripe papaya flesh) shoot above the foliage on nearly black stems, which make a gorgeous contrast. Multiple flushes of FD blooms on a 4.5’ plant.
Note: This is Lee’s Papaya- not the same dahlia as the ‘Papaya’ dahlia I have offered in past years but have now phased out. That strain was a sport that I selected from Maarn- no relation.
