Dahlia ‘April Heather’ (2008) This lovely collarette dahlia blooms like crazy on long strong stems on a 4.5’ plant. 3-4” flowers outer petals are pale yellow with a light rose wash, creating an apricot aura. The collar petals that surround the sunny eye are white and shaped exactly like the scales of a butterfly’s wing. As with all dahlias of this form, I suggest cutting stems when most of the buds have yet to open but are showing color.
